The State of Conn. Mobile Hospital was set up next to the pavilion at Saybrook Point and was the site of our meeting of Sept. 12, 2007. This structure was raised in 6 hours and is completely self sufficient. It is available for emergency situations should a hospital become incapacitated due to natural or other circumstance. It may be transported easily to other locations in the state or, if needed, to other states in need. |

Wally Hirsch and President Gerri Lewis with a rendering of the new Katherine Hepburn Theater. The former Old Saybrook Town Hall is being restored for use as a theater. Wally is in charge of the project and President Gerri will be running an auction to raise money to help pay for the necessary renovations. |
