Jan Perruccio introduced the program, talking about Polio Plus and our donation to Polio Plus in the Student’s name.
LYME/OLD LYME
Vice Principal Jeanne Manfredi introduced English teacher Jen Burke who in turn introduced the Student Sarah Kwon. Sarah is a National Merit Scholar, strong leader, and writer. Travel to Costa Rica on a scholarship, excellent communicator. Plans to focus on International Relations, considering Princeton.
WESTBROOK
Principal Tara Winch introduced teacher Nancy Malafonte who in turn introduced Student Christin Banks. Christine visited Facebook HQ , San Francisco, promoting student involvement. Christine quiet in person, great on stage and in theater, very strong in her writing workshop. Plans for further study in Communication Disorders, Speech Path, Southern Conn Univ, Springfield College.
OLD SAYBROOK
Principal Riffle introduced English Teacher Jamie Gowdy in turn introduced the Student Sophie Alden. Sophie exhibits all of the tenants of R A M Pride, #1 in English, a good writer, concise, organized, a true love of learning. Very involved in school activities. President of the Interact Club, promoted Locks for Luke an Interact event, Looking at schools in the South.
