PROGRAM

Rotarian Amber Scherber introduced the program. “Operation Wallacea”

Senior Clohe Root introduced each of the students, twelve (12) in all.  Each student in turn talked about both the most challenging part and the most rewarding part of the trip. Some diving to a depth of 60ft.

Everyone was challenged by the course in learning to dive. Using the tanks, the breathing apparatus, clearing the mask, etc.  All marveled at the variety of see life, coral, fish octopus and on and on.

All enjoyed the travel and the experience of visiting Honduras. One lad had a stated mission to see an octopus, he did and the hurry to look dislodged his mask and had to press into service his diver certification training to clear and then view. All worked out well.

The group worked with a Professor in his research on the effect of the environment on coral life.

We all viewed a wonderful slide show.

PEARLS OF WISDOM

“It always seems Impossible until it is done”

THE FOUR WAY TEST of the things we think, say, or do

1)   Is it the TRUTH?

2)   Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3)   Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDHSIPS?

4)   Will it be BENEFICAL to all concerned?
