Our guests talked a little about themselves. Bonnie Reemsnyder (left in photo), is the First Selectwoman of the town of Old Lyme. She learned that our club covers her town (In addition to Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook). She offered to come to any future meeting to discuss the state of her town.
Aviva Luria is the staff writer for The Harbor News covering the towns of Old Saybrook and Westbrook. If anyone has a story they'd like to get into the paper, Aviva is the one to talk to. She took over for Becky Coffey.
Marty talked about progress on the Wine Tasting. Its getting close and much work remains to be done. Mainly, tickets need to be sold, auction items need to be brought in and sponsors and ads for our program need to be solicited. We have a lost a few sponsors but hopefully, new ones will make up for them.
Please bring your ticket sales money and auction items to Marty at Northeast Medical. Marty is keeping information up to date. He will be sending updates periodically so watch your email.
