For the benefit of our guests, Pete Zucco led a discussion on the various projects Rotary has been involved in including Student of the Month, the Dictionary Project, the Outreach Committee and more. John Donnelly talked about a current International project underway where the club, with the help of a grant from our district, is donating two incubators to a neonatal unit in Techiman, Ghana. Joan Michaud, who heads the Outreach committee talked about some recent requests and the procedure for processing them. There are 2 types of forms, one to be used when requesting assistance on behalf of someone and the other for use by organizations such as Youth & Family Services. John Aforismo and Mark Patterson gave brief bio's of themselves. John is a retired pharmacist is has recently moved to Old Saybrook. Mark Patterson is in real estate.
