Jon spoke about the summer series of concerts by the town of Old Saybrook. There will be 16 concerts - 11 on the green and 5 at Harvey's Beach on Wednesday nights at 6:30. Jon is looking for partners with 3 tiers of sponsorships. 250-600 people attend the popular outdoor concerts and they will also have movies for 50-100 people. New guidelines allow 500 people to gather. Exclusive sponsorships run $1500 for a 4 month exposure at the events. Concerts are $500 per show, movies $300 per show.

More from Gary: are there any hands-on community projects we can get involved in such as Meals on Wheels. Let Gary know if you think of any.

John Aforismo talked about our Shredding Day event on April 17. John has been working hard to make arrangements that include having flyers made up and distributed, talking to the police about traffic control, planning the layout of the car flow and shredding operations and more. We need about 20 people to run this event so put the day aside and jump in! Time is 8am to 1pm. There will be runs to the transfer station to dispose of cartons and trash. No bathrooms available.

OS Chamber Craft Fair has been pushed to the first weekend in October. We may have to rethink the menu. John said his son would contribute ice cream like last year if we want to offer it at our food tent.

Golf Tournament: Charlie R and Brent will visit Fox Hopyard 2nd week in April

Club Directory: Pat Devito has a plan for the directory that employs the website and no longer uses paper. This will be an important part of our website that will present member profiles both public and members' only access. Pat will attend a planning meeting with Web Solutions, our website developer and host, on March 23.
