    A $50 donation for Warm the Children was received from the Wilsons
    The Chamber thanked us for participating in the Chamber Expo
    We received a thank you note from Bikes for Kids for our contribution ($200)
    Thank you from St. Johns for the dictionaries that were delivered recently.
    Holiday dinner next week, please prepay. If you need to cancel let Gerri know asap. There will be an optional gift exchange - bring a gift to give and you will receive a gift. Toys for kids are being collected by Glen - they must be in to him at his business location (Pak-It) by Dec. 16.

Marty: The Torchlight Parade is this Saturday! Volunteers came forward and after the meeting, jobs were assigned and instructions given out. This is our 26th year of hosting the hospitality tent!

The interact advisor from Westbrook HS, Kaitlin, gave a brief talk about the club's activities. Projects included fundraising for Haiti relief, the Philippines and 2 families were "adopted" by the club. In February, the club will be collecting food for needy Westbrook families.

    Happy Bucks: Happy bucks were given in honor of our guests, students, Kaitlin's Interact Club, John was happy to receive help from Interact kids getting books ready to ship to Ghana, Bill's award for outstanding volunteer.


Students of the Month: Bill McLaughlin
Old Saybrook: Jack Rothman
Jack is the President of the Interact Club and is on the student counsel. He's a great student and very enthusiastic. Jack will be attending Franklin Marshall College.
Westbrook: Christopher Dahl
Chris is an excellent student who offers insights in class. He has a gentle personality, is honest and genuine. He is on the basketball and baseball teams. Not sure where he is going but Chris is a finalist for the UCONN Nutmeg Scholarship.
Lyme-Old Lyme: Abigail Guitar
Conscientious and hard working, Abigail is taking AP History and AP Psychology. She excels in track giving 110%. Abigail has not decided on schools yet but will be majoring in Psychology.
