Kathy reminded everyone about our April evening dinner meeting, Wednesday April 30th at Luigi's. Cost is $28.00 per person. Plese pay prior to dinner meeting. There is a sign up sheet available.

This Weeks Meals of Wheels : Stan

Announcments : President Gerri welcomed the students, families, school adminstrators, guests and Glenns guest, Pastor Mark Robinson of  St. Annes Church in Old Lyme.

Gerri turned the Students of the Month program over to Glenn who talked about the students receiving a $25.00 check and an additional donation in their name of $25.00 per student to go towards Polio Plus. Glenn stated there are 3 main countries that have not eradicated Polio. They are Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria. There are a few smaller countries as well. Last year there was 406 cases world wide. Rotarians all over the world have donated 1.2 billion to eradicate Polio.

Students of the Month- Music

Lyme-Old Lyme High School: Cooper Kendall
Cooper is a National Honor student, an Allstate New England honor recipient and is a quiet leader who leads others often. He has a great ability to work and help others. Cooper has an amzing talent with singing. He has studied the last three years with a professional voice teacher.He is currently deciding between going to the New England Conservatory or Westminister Choir College.


Westbrook High School: Emily Archer
Emily is a member of the National Honor Society. She has emerged as a leader in Choir this past year which is her passion. She performed as "Inga" in Young Frankenstein and loves drama. This past summer she was a camp counseler. Her thoughts for future school is currently Miami University of Ohio.


Old Saybrook High School: Kristy Ledwith
Kristy is a wonderful young women who loves track and running.  She is well rounded. She recetly played "Cosette" in Les Miserables. She is in band, chours and drama and is an oustanding soprano singer. She wants to make her music education to be in vocal performance. Kristy is deciding between Hart or Uconn
 with a double major in Music Ed.
