Make plans for next spring. Liberty Bank Turkey Drive begins in full swing “Warm The Children” Dick Campbell coordinator along with Cathy and Gerri. Think about being a shopper. PROGRAM “Heat & Eat” Tina Kozlowski took over from Bo & Carol Henderson about a year and a half ago. Worked hard to clean up the kitchen and improve the program. Tina has located a dishwasher for less than the $12.439.00 that was quoted, new cost $10,600.00. Good news. Heat & Eat prepares about 400 meals each Monday morning. The meals are packaged Monday afternoon for delivery to The Pantry Tuesday afternoon. Tina works closely with the chef at Saybrook Point Inn and receives food from the Inn. Also purchased food from Conn Food Bank. Meat comes from Stop and Shop meat department. Chicken in great demand from Hispanic clients. Progam also working to have a visiting nurse on hand to help clients. The need is great and Tina and company are working hard to help.
