Program: Student of the Month - World Language
Old Saybrook High School Ryan Dowd - Assistant principal, Joe Anastasio, described Ryan as the heart and
soul of Old Saybrook High School. Teacher Amy Laverty noted his passion for studying the language and the
culture.
Lyme/Old Lyme High School- Abigail Cipperone- Assistant principal, Michelle Dean, described Abigail as a
pillar of the community, a natural born leader, and an activist for human rights.
Westbrook High School - Logan Muckle - Principal, Tara Winch, said Logan is a positive influence on the
school atmosphere. Teacher, Cheryl Albaine, informed us that Logan will be participating in the Rotary
Student Exchange Program. He will be studying in Columbia and living with two or three different families.
