Program: Matt Vogt Bio
Welcome back to Matt who has been away for a couple of years even though he still particpated in many events and fundraisers while not a member.
Matt is the father of three boys, ages, 7, 12 and 15 and they keep him very busy. His profession is IT and his specialty is solving IT problems. He recently helped open the new Old Saybrook location for his employer, Enterprise Computers. Matt enjoys Scuba Diving and has had the opportunity to dive in many beautiful locations in the US and outside the country.
Matt shared his prior experience as a Rotarian, why he decided to leave and how he took a step back and realized the importance and how  fulfilling it is to him to do service work. This is why Matt decided to return as a member and the Old Saybrook Club is very lucky to have him as a member again.

Next Weeks Program: WORLD AFFAIRS SEMINAR:
"Dedicated to the advancement of international goodwill and peace through a better understanding of global issues"
The World Affairs Seminar is a popular Rotary program and attracts high school seniors from around the world. The Rotary Old Saybrook sponsors 3 seniors to attend the World Affairs Seminar. This year, it was held at Carroll University in Wisconsin. The seminar provides many insights to these students and gives them an opportunity to listen to peers from around the globe. International understanding is what this program is all about and the students come away with knowledge that will stay with them all their lives. On Aug. 29 the club will hear from 2 recent attendees about their experience.
