THE FOUR WAY TEST of the things we think, say, or do.

1)   Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

HAPPY BUCKS
Many and varied, for the beautiful day, for our guest speaker Leah O’Connor, for a nice Memorial Day Weekend, for the landscape work @ VFW, for guests.

PROGRAM   Leah O’Connor, O’Connor College Consulting

Leah has an association with Rotary. Her father is Past President of The Rotary Club of East Lyme. Leah O’Connor has spent 14 years in public education in varying roles as a School Counselor, Director of School Counseling, School Administration, and a K-12 district administrator role at Old Saybrook Public Schools.

Leah uses her diverse educational, professional, and counseling background to support students and their families throughout the entire admissions process. Leah also has a private therapy practice providing counseling with an interest in women’s issues and mental health.

As Mental Health Awareness is a focus, of Rotary International, for the Month of May, Leah’s talk was timely. Stress happens, we must work at dealing with the problem then moving on. Mental toughness can be improved with effort, such as Cognitive Brain Training.
