VISITING ROTARIAN: Jay Wright The Rotary Club of Wallingford, Vermont. “The Birthplace of Paul Harris.” Jay has visited our club many times!
HAPPY BUCKS: Happy for today’s program, happy to have Jay Wright visiting from Wallingford Vermont, happy for the beautiful day, happy for the Aforismo’s anniversary, many were simply happy to be together.
PROGRAM: The Miracle League of Southeastern Connecticut (MLSECT) - Gina Morris and Jim Grogan
The MLSECT provides inclusive and accessible opportunities for individuals throughout southeastern Connecticut with physical, cognitive, and development disabilities. The program allows individuals to participate in recreational, educational, and cultural activities. Gina and Jim had an exceptionally good slide presentation to highlight their many activities, MLSECT has worked with Kevin Ollie and his program to provide accessible basketball courts for all. The MLSECT field is located behind the Flanders Elementary School, 167 Boston Post Road, East Lyme, CT.

-Tuesday July 30, 2024, meet at Middlesex Clinic, Westbrook for a thank you presentation for Middlesex Health’s support of The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook.

-Deadline for sponsors is August 26th
-Five teams have signed on so far, golfers can register online osrotary.org
-Deadline for golfers is Sept. 2nd
-Continue to work on tee box and greens sponsors
