Bill hosted an Induction Ceremony for William Quish, Joanne Passeri Farrell, and Michael Donovan. We are all pleased to welcome these new members to The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook!
PRESIDENT’S UPDATE
1.) MAUI FUND RAISER Nancy Morin
A.) The club has set up a matching grant for funds raised for Lahaina relief.
B.) $550.00 raised last Wednesday’s concert.
C.) Will fund raise this Wednesday at concert.
D.) Fund raising being coordinated with Rotary District 5000
E.) Our efforts will continue through October.
2.) MEETING WEDNESDAY AUGUST 30, 2023, Nancy Morin
The August 30, 2023, meeting (the 5th Wed of the month) will be a meeting evening meeting at The Hideaway Restaurant in the Old Lyme Shopping Center. Meeting time is 6:00 PM. Order from the special menu three (3) choices.

A.) Weather prediction very good for Monday “We do not do rain on game day”
B.) We have 52 sponsors and 64 golfers good news.
C.) Raffle in good shape ticket buyers will get their monies worth.
D.) “DITTY BAGS” assembled 70 total.
E.) Work assignments are in place we are good to go.
