Marty Drobiarz: Discussed having the Shadder, our newsletter, automatically emailed to the members. Currently, members must go online to our website and retrieve it. The cost for programming this capability is about $300. A show of hands by those in attendance was overwhelmingly in favor. Marty will ask the Board of Directors to approve the funds.
John Donnelly: Ghana has a new elected president. The election was witnessed by among others, former President Jimmy Carter and the election was orderly and there was no violence. This story didn't make headlines but it bodes well for the possiblity of democracy in the African country.
Keith Wescovich: As program chair, please let Keith know of any speakers and programs. There are openings in February on.
Brent Taylor: Asked the club their feeling of increasing the green fees for the golf tournament. The consensus was that in this economy, we should keep it the same - $125/golfer.
John Donnelly: Announced our exchange student, Sofia, made the honor role at Old Saybrook HIgh School.
