Announcements:
    Stephen Brinkmann of the Essex Club talked about the Group Study Exchange team coming from Peru and will be here from April 20 - April 26. Volunteers are needed to provide rides, overnight hosting and vocational education. Steve will know more about the team members in a couple of weeks. There will be a meeting this Thursday at 6pm at the Essex Library for those interested in helping out. Jason Smith will be involved if you want to talk to him. Stephen's phone no. is 767-1385.
    Mike Velgouse discussed last weeks Board of Directors meeting. Topics covered include the issue of elected officials not being eligible for regular membership in Rotary (Honorary membership is a possibility), the club bylaws and the need to update and inform the club members of them, a beautification project in Old Lyme (Post Office) and the club supporting Gerri financially for her upcoming duties and expenses as the areas Assistant District Governor. 
    John Donnelly spoke about the budget and handed out the Club and Foundation spreadsheets. Not much as changed in January.
    Bob Chase talked about his attendance of the Pre-PETS conference last weekend. He said our club does everything expected of a club and that we looked very good compared to other clubs in the district in terms of all the programs we do.

Program:
    The date of this years golf tournament is Thursday, May 22. The price will remain $125 per golfer even though the food will probably cost more. Our goal for a successful tournament is 125 tee box equivelents. Invites will be printed and mailed the first week of April around the time of the Masters Golf Tournament. Marty mentioned that forms will be available online.
