Program: Chuck Graeb
Next year, Chuck will celebrate his 20th anniversary of his organization, Bikes for Kids. His mission has been to obtain bikes, fix them up and distribute them to children who would otherwise do without a bike. Funds for fixing the bikes comes from donations and fundraisers. Last week Chuck obtained 75 bikes from Stamford. Bikes for Kids works primarily through agencies - one year providing over 700 bikes. In late May or early June, Chuck will be working with St. Judes Hospital in a "Trike-A-Thon" that will raise money for the hospital in providing people who don't have insurance with medical care. Chuck will need help in selling hotdogs and hamburgers and general tasks. You may contact Chuck if you'd like to participate.
