There were 26 applicants for the 5 Scholarship Committee members to select from
             to narrow the field to 3 - 4 year scholarships and 3 - 2 year scholarships.  A
daunting task with the caliber of applicants we get.  Much credit should be given
to the committee for their hard work and dedication!  Ron mentioned all applicants
are personally interviewed and that if selected must submit end of semester transcripts
to the club to ensure they are meeting the required 3.0 GPA needed to sustain the
scholarship funds.  Parents were also requested to check with the college's financial
office to ensure the scholarship moneys are being credited.

(A note from your editor) The accomplishments of these young people were too numerous for
your editor to keep up with and publish here.  It would also have added several pages
to the Shadder.  Suffice it to say they are all highly motivated, academically superb
and involved in all sorts of school and civic activities.  We are proud of them all!
