Budget: John Donnelley reviewed the 2009-2010 budgets for both the Club and the Foundation. Club budget, $30,874 and the foundation budget $66,975. Thanks John.

Matt Rubin spoke about his recent 16 day trip to Israel. Matt worked at a kibbutz some 40 years ago. While there he met and married his wife Hadass. They have been married 41 years. They have visited Israel every year to visit Hadass's parents, at a kibbutz near the Jordanian border. A beautiful place resembling Palm Desert, CA with the mountains and green valleys. Matt reports that the economy in Israel is vibrant and moving forward. The kibbutz began as a socialist form of living, everyone owned everything. Now moving to a capitalist system favored by the young people and slow to come with the oldsters. Common language is Hebrew, with most speaking English as well. Great program
