Gerri: There will be a meeting of the Liberty Bank Thanksgiving Drive committee on Thurs, Sept 17 and we are invited to attend. Please see Gerri for the details if you wish to attend. Each year, our club teams up with Liberty Bank to raise money to purchase and give out turkeys free of charge.
John Donnelly: John asked for help to set up for the Rotary International Foundation meeting on Sept. 26 at the Chester Cong. Church. Brent and Gerri volunteered.
John Donnelly: John talked about RI's literacy program. RI contributes money for the printing of books for kids in foreign countries. This supports the printing industry as well as providing reading materials needed to teach reading.
There was no program and the meeting was adjourned.
